Last year, on my birthday, I took the kids to see South Pacific. Same deal on the ticket - but mine was for $30. This was after paying the $10 (which I already thought was outrageous!) I would have fought it too, except: I don't live in Toronto! I would have had to take a day off work to travel to Toronto to sit around to get a court date, then come back on that court date to fight it! It's a serious money-grab, and the city should be ashamed. In fact, I did, at least, tell the parking authority so. The soul searching I did? Where in my life am I not being clear. (similar to yours!) Take solace in the knowledge that your fine was half of mine! (And this year, for my birthday, I went to the theatre in Niagara on the Lake. Parking fee? Six bucks. Cheers!
